** They accepted CREDIT/DEBIT NOW !!!! ** the bread sticks are huge fresh baked homemade bread and delicious! This really is the best pizza. Most pizza places in the area all kind of taste similar. Not these guys! This flavor stands out and the STUFFED CRUST pizza is ridiculously good!! We order from here a couple times a month and have never been disappointed.
Have been going here for 25 years, my mother and her family have been going here for more than 30 years and I have never had a pizza anywhere in these united states (prices from 5 per pizza to 40 per pizza) that comes close to this authentic taste and love that goes into every pizza. You will never find better sauce ANYWHERE in Illinois, "chicago" pizza has nothing on OG Sam's Original sauce. RIP Sam, you created something beautiful and the community will forever be grateful for you and Josie! Everyone should try sams at least once before kicking the bucket. Anyone who doesnt like authentic pizza or good taste will give a 1 star review. They probably call Mcdonalds gourmet. YOU HAVE TO GET DOUBLE SAUCE!!
If you're looking for a 100% AUTHENTIC ITALIAN restaurant, THIS IS IT. My husband took me here on Valentine's Day in 2023 and it was perfection! at the time, there was no dining in, but they let us which was so sweet for them to do. the atmosphere is calming with classical Italian music that is very soothing. Their PIZZA? oh my GOSH. PHENOMENAL! the sauce is sweet but full of flavor, the crust is thin but PERFECTLY fluffy, and the cheese is to die for. Everything about this place is perfect. and it's so clean in there and just gorgeous in the entire restaurant. I WILL DEFINITELY BE RETURNING. IF I CAN GET THIS PLACE TEN STARS I WOULD IN A HEARTBEAT. THANK YOU GUYS FOR YOUR SERVICE.

I grew up eating this pizza... I live in NC now and when I come home, I get it several times because nothing else compares. The taste, quality, and service has been the best I’ve experienced in the past 30 years. From NC to IL, there’s nothing like this pizza!!!
We walked in on a chilly night without realizing that they weren't offering any dine-in option... but they still seated us regardless and made an accommodation. Pizza was VERY good: thought the sauce was really good, and pizza not aggressively salty. Highly recommend!
Hands down my favorite pizza for over 30 years. I love the sauce,crust cheese an toppings. Authentic family owned business.No mod pizza or any other chain pizza can beat this place.Just my opinion.I'd really be disappointed to lose this place. Its mainly a carryout place but they do have seating. My only request would be for Josie to add would be a calzone.
My dad LOVED this place. When I was a kid, the sauce was too sweet for me, but now I find it an impeccable blend of sugar and garlic. The crust is complete and absolute perfection. The cheese is beyond ample. I lived in Chicago for five years and found nothing that comes close. Magnificent.
